Indeed, I enjoyed using it more than any other similar portable recorder I’ve used in the past. Terrific Dedicated Audio Recorder After a lot of research on different audio recorders, I finally–and happily–ended up purchasing the Tascam DR-22WL recorder. My main purpose for this recorder was for recording work meetings, lectures, and audio overlays for making video tutorials. If you’re buying this for the WiFi features, don’t Pros:Does a great job as a digital recorder.Can power your mics with phantom power directly.Cons:Eats batteries for breakfast. You will need to use an external battery via USB if you are doing any recordings lasting more than about 30-45 minutes, especially of you are powering mics, and/or using the wifi features.
