GREAT balanced router for larger homes (2000-4000 sq. ft.), gamers, and those with multiple devices. Just installed this router tonight to replace another Netgear (AC1200) that we’ve had for over 2 years. The AC1200 was fine, but didn’t push the signal quite as far as we needed into back bedrooms. After installing this, even the 5GHz was reaching the master bdrm., and as they say, “Happy wife happy life”. The speeds of this router wirelessly were 138Mbps down and 25Mbps up (on the 5GHz channel). On the 2.4GHz I hit 57Mbps down and about 7Mbps up, still acceptable for surfing the web on…

good router, setup process using app needs improvement Had it up and running for a little over a month now. I haven’t had to restart it or anything and it has been working reliably. I’m happy with the purchase. We have around a dozen devices connected to it and it seems to handle them well. Could not connect to internet Unfortunately after multiple attempts and talking to my ISP for 30 minutes..but no matter what, this router would not connect to the internet. I tried 10+ times, watched Youtube videos, etc. ripping out my hair. Yes, I tried the MAC spoof angle..but, still: nothing. Something is definitely amiss.
