Wi-Fi Connection
Step 1: Launch the “YI IOT” app, Click + to select the device mode.
Step 2: Wait for 20s until you hear the sound from the camera, make sure that your phone are connected with 2.4G wifi.
Step 3: Input the wifi password, then comes up a QR Code on your screen, put the QR Code in front the camera lense, usually it will linked in 5s.
Step 4: After sevral personalized settings, connection should be successful!
Notice before configuration:
✔ It only supports 2.4GHz band not 5GHz
✔Your Wi-Fi encryption is WPA2-PSK(AES)
✔Heard the sound of droplets after plugging in

Not a happy customer. I was drawn in because of the price – however it did not include the hardware/any screws to mount on the wall.. which is disappointing. It took awhile to pair to my phone and keeps cutting out. I guess you get what you pay for – I am definitely going to have to purchase something else to replace this.Update to add: itâs the next day. Cameras work on slower WiFi. If you run 5G or higher, pick a different camera. Bought 2 cameras for my home. I like the size of the cameras. Thatâs about it!! Spent 2 days trying to sync with my WiFi. Did everything I could to get them synced. Tovendor need to add a feature to adjust settings for WiFi and Security. Cameras donât WORK on Fast WiFi.
Good quality for the given price. Pretty good camera for the price. You do need a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi in order for this to work. The sound works great without a big delay and it works at night (which was an important feature for me picking it out). The video quality is pretty good. I am considering ordering one more to get more room coverage.
