Iâm Impressed I have to admit Iâm pretty impressed with this camera considering the cheap price. I was looking for a camera to put in my sonâs room so that I donât have to follow him upstairs all day long but can still keep an eye on him.The night vision works great. So far the pictures have been very clear. I also really like the fact that you can use this camera live, so you donât necessarily need an SD card, unless you want to record and donât want to buy the cloud service. I do plan on buying another camera for my living room so I will be inserting a micro SD in that camera.I will admit I had a very difficult time connecting the camera to my router. I have dual band WIFI through XFinity. The first time I tried to connect the camera it didnât work. So I did some research and managed to separate my Wi-Fi into the two separate bands: 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz. (I had them together under one name and password.) I attempted to connect the camera to the router several more times after that…
Great Camera – Comparable to Higher End Cameras Being my first security camera, I was not sure what to expect from a camera at this price range, but was very happy with its appearance and performance. I have seen a friend’s camera, a higher-end model, and this one matches the quality of the images. Even the night vision works great, providing a very clear image.It has the ability to be remotely turned to incorporate all angles that may be needed. It goes almost all the way around horizontal (350 degrees) and goes vertical to cover the floor to ceiling.The setup is easy IF you follow the instructions to the letter. If not, it may not hook up to the wifi right away. I followed the instructions, waited for the annouced “beeps”, and it was working in no time. I love that it has a microphone, which works well whether just listening in or talking to someone.
