Excellent Investment, especially with non-social media attached husband… The Nix was a great way for my non-social media attached husband to see the photos and videos my daughter and son were posting. They simply send the photos to the Nix email address and the pictures show up on our screen. I especially love the ability to adjust the number of pictures that get shown (latest 100, 200, 500, 1000 or all). I’ll often reset it to 100 so my husband will see all the recent photos sent. This is the one to get! I ordered the previous version of the Nix’s 13″ and wasn’t thrilled with the display. It was an LCD like monitors from 10 years ago. After doing a bunch of research and digging around, I found this one and ordered to compare. Night and day difference (keep in mind, I’m a photographer). It seems to be a great purchase so far.FWIW, customer support has been excellent up to this point! Highly recommended.
Easy Interface with Smart Phone and Laptop The unit comes with clear instructions which at first glance seemed daunting because of the number of steps. However, the printed instructions, on-screen guidance, and web site info guided me through the process step-by-step. It took a few minutes, but I was quickly able to upload about 200 photos from my laptop for viewing on the device.
