Having trouble getting it to recognize the connecton First off, if you do not have a smart phone do not buy this. It came with no express set up directions, but instructed you to download a PHONE app to get started and also wanted you to use your phone to do a fingerprint ID to make it easier. My husband was installing it, and I told him NO, do not use your fingerprint ID, cause what if I need to get into it, I have to wait until you get home from work to use your fingerprint? So my husband set it up online and it says connected but nothing…
DOA Although tech savy I gave up on the attempted install after 3 hours of repeating the instructions, checking cable connections, rebooting router, modem and PC with no skin in the game. This router simply would not recognize my internet connection. The instructions noted to “remove the rubber antenna threaded protectors” from router to connect antenna. Mine did not have them , leading me to believe that possibly this was a returned item that was boxed and shipped out again or the manufacturer did…
Works but don’t last Works great. Only problem is that these routers don’t last me more than a year. They self destruct. I’m on my 4th one. Why do they not last?
