Wireless woes, courtesy of Marvell and Linksys TL;DR: This router seemed amazing on paper. However, I should have listened to the reviews claiming that it had severe wireless issues. Problematic Router, Problematic Support Purchased this router if Jan 2017 based on the good reviews and belief that Linksys produced a good product. It worked okay for 10 months with good 2.4ghz service but the 5ghz was a bit disappointing. Hopelessly wretched stability – avoid I had a Linksys AC1900 AC from Amazon in Oct. 2015 for about 1.5 years and really liked the performance and network tools – at least I did when the unit was not routinely requiring a full reset to return to a stable Internet connection.
