TP-Link vs NETGEAR This review is for the TP-Link AC2600 A10 router. This router has outstanding range. I have a NETGEAR Nighthawk AC1900 Dual Band WiFi Gigabit Router (R7000) which is a nice router but I needed something with longer range, so I thought I would take a chance with this, and I was not disappointed. I needed a Poweriver camera in the back of my home, 100ft from the router with the signal going through four 10 inch thick brick walls and one wood wall. So I set up two cameras side by side,…

Used as an access point, works fine, slightly quirky interface I only need one wireless router (one-BR apt) but because it’s an old building with thick brick and concrete walls (even on the inside), it needs to be positioned just right and that’s not near my modem/router. That being the case, I have run an Ethernet cable from the non-wireless router to this one and positioned it where it works well.I have been using an older TP-Link wireless router, also as an AP, and never had any problem with it, but wanted something faster, and this was on…

It is not stable and it will not last long at all very cheaply made! Two weeks out of the box disconnects all devices says it’s online but no device can connect to 2.4 or 5. Have to reset the stupid thing. And it’s happened twice brand new ac2600 archer 10 garbage. Don’t get me wrong my asus 66u would drop 3x a month. But it didn’t do it 2 weeks out of the box! I will never buy TP Link again going to try NetGear RX500 here’s to hoping it’s better!Don’t buy asus and don’t buy tp link they don’t hold up!
